La Ratte is a raw, unpolished blend of Rhythm & Blues and Roots Rock. Since the end of 2021, the band has thrived on the excellent synergy of Harms' unconventional songwriting, gritty vocals and fiery guitar playing, Jochem’s explosive drum style, and Nikolas's old-school bass groove. They draw inspiration from the energy of Texas Blues, hypnotic Mississippi Hill Country groove, and the catchiness of Louisiana Swamp Pop La Ratte delivers a gritty and explosive show deeply rooted in American roots music.
