The ultimate groove machine of the highest order that will make Dust! My Blues shake. Richville is a project by singer/guitarist 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻 and drummer 𝗝𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗼𝗶𝗷𝗲𝗻.
The music of the duo can be described as raw and stripped-down. Inspired by the period when the Blues transitioned from acoustic to electric.
Richville is a mix of trance-like Delta Blues and funky New Orleans second-line rhythms.
Originally, blues was mainly dance music. Playing as a two-man band, Richville also focuses on the essence of this powerful and timeless music: the groove!
